Once its own city, it joined with a neighbor in 1898; today on its own it would be the 4th most populous city in the U.S.

It's been a Summer of Nothing. For the first time in thirty years I've woke up most days with nothing of consequence to do. Nothing going on. A Summer of Deep Contentment. And this is the last weekend of it. After which all the self-discipline I employ (snort) goes back into effect.
