The other day I was with the family in the dining room and looked up at what I could see of the kitchen from my perspective. Everything in my view was lovely, tho crowded. Looked like a pic from a lovely country inn.
The glad jars contain brown sugar, flaked coconut, dried herbs such as oregano, basil, thyme, etc, elbow macaroni, trail mix, dried figs and other fruits, various homemade jams, some canned peppers in olive oil, and trail mix. The colorful cans on the right, stacked from the floor to almost chin high, are cans that at Christmas time come full of 3 flavors of popcorn, and then I save the cans for things that come in larger quantities. With 5 kids, I got in the habit of buying in bulk to save money. So there I have flour, sugar, several kinds of beans, popcorn (Raymond gets it in 20-lb bags, unpopped), egg noodles, etc.
It looks so cozy. I would like to know what is in all those glass jars!
